The Racquet Corner opened its door to Lincoln and the Nebraska tennis and racquetball community on March 1, 1988. Since that time we have expanded our lines to include tennis clothing, shoes, badminton, and table tennis. Since our early days, we have sold racquets to 31 states and 28 countries. Lincoln has our largest customer base, but we have a very large customer base in rural Nebraska.

DEMONSTRATION RACQUETS
We stock over 90 TENNIS demonstration racquets, so customers can compare racquets on court and find the racquet which offers them the best combination of power and control. In addition, we stock over 40 RACQUET BALL “demo” racquets, so racquet ball customers can find the power and feel they desire by using the “demos” at a racquet ball court.

STRINGING
Over the years, the business has been built around personal service and attention. This is underscored by a consistent effort to string racquets to exact customer specifications. To that end, we have three constant pull stringing machines, and a Babolat diagnostic center. We have four competent stringers, including two classified by the United States Racquet Stringers Association as “Master Racquet Technicians”. We stock over 50 different strings in an effort to maximize each player’s potential.

RACQUETS
We stock every major racquet brand in both tennis and racquetball, including Wilson, Prince, Head, Volkl, Babolat, Dunlop, and E-Force. Each model is backed by one or more demonstration models, so customers may “try” before they buy. Racquet technology is constantly changing, and improving. Today’s racquets not only offer lighter weights, but much greater stability and comfort. This simply brings more pleasure to everyone’s game.

SHOES
Performance tennis and racquetball shoes have become a very large share of our total sales. We stock only tennis and racquetball specific shoes. Brands include Nike, Wilson, Prince, Adidas, and K Swiss. We have a strong background of experience in fitting shoes for each person, to maximize fit, and thus maximize your game.

CLOTHING
Women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing feature Adidas, Nike, and many other brands. A proper fit and look makes you feel better on the court. Almost every piece of clothing features material that provides moisture management. Moisture release dries five times faster than cotton, and --- it looks good.

WRIST, ELBOW, AND SHOULDER PROBLEMS
We have consulted and benefited many players with arm problems in both racquetball and tennis. Each person’s problem can be addressed with specific recommendations. These include shock absorbing multifilament strings, specific racquets designed to dampen shock, wrist and elbow relief devices, and string dampers. The correct combination will benefit almost every player.
